Continue the fun of the Easter Gathering by joining us again in August for our Summer Gathering where we’ll be welcoming young people from across the Diocese for their summer social. The day includes a great variety of games and activities, pizza and a BBQ for lunch, as well as two short talks, and Mass. It’s a great chance for young people who have met for the first time today to meet again and keep in touch, and of course to spend the day with their friends. Summer is open to young people currently in P5-S4 and is completely free of charge with transport provided.

I understand that my child may not use a mobile phone during activities and agree to their phone being collected by leaders and stored securely.
In accordance with our Code of Conduct, we will label and collect all mobile phones on arrival in Dumfries. These will be returned to young people during lunch, and then collected in again and returned at the end of the day. If your child needs to keep their phone, please contact the Youth Office directly to discuss their needs.

Please note, all of our transport to Kilmarnock is now full.

We still welcome any young person wishing to take part, but are unable to provide transport to Kilmarnock. As young people will be returning by train (with leaders supervising) we can still provide transport to Ayr/ Auchinleck/ Dumfries at the end of the day.

If your child would like free transport home, please indicate. All transport to Kilmarnock is now fully booked.
