The Diocesan Young Adults group aims to bring together Young Adults (S5-30) from across the Diocese to:
- Build community with one and other, rooted in their faith in God.
- Develop understanding of their faith through talks, discussion and pilgrimages, to help them deepen their faith and love of Christ.
- Grow fraternity with one and other through these shared experiences and friendships.
Our Young Adults group currently meets monthly on the first Sunday of each month in St Joseph’s Church, Kilmarnock, beginning with Mass at 5.45 pm and continuing afterwards with a talk from a guest speaker. For those unable to join in person, we also offer the opportunity of following online through Microsoft Teams.
In addition to our monthly talks, we also aim to have regular social opportunities, with the group keeping in touch through our WhatsApp group and meeting informally, as well as our bigger socials at Christmas (Young Adults’ Christmas Dinner) and in the Summer (Summer BBQ).
