Summer Youth Gathering

Continue the fun of the Easter Gathering by joining us again in August for our Summer Gathering where we’ll be welcoming young people from across the Diocese for their summer social. The day includes a great variety of games and activities, pizza and a BBQ for lunch, as well as two short talks, and Mass. It’s a great chance for young people who have met for the first time today to meet again and keep in touch, and of course to spend the day with their friends. Summer is open to young people currently in P5-S4 and is completely free of charge with transport provided.

In accordance with our Code of Conduct, we will label and collect all mobile phones on arrival in Dumfries. These will be returned to young people during lunch, and then collected in again and returned at the end of the day. If your child needs to keep their phone, please contact the Youth Office directly to discuss their needs.
