Join us as we gather alongside the wider Diocesan and National Catholic community for the Annual Pilgrimage to Whithorn. We’ll begin the day in Newton Stewart with games and activities from 11.00 am, followed by a pizza lunch. After lunch, we’ll head down to the beach for a talk on St Ninian: who he was, and why he matters to us, as well as some time for questions and discussion.

We’ll then join Bishop Frank and the Diocesan community for Mass on the beach, following which we’ll enjoy our packed supper on the beach before returning home.

I understand that my child may not use a mobile phone during activities and agree to their phone being collected by leaders and stored securely.
In accordance with our Code of Conduct, we will label and collect all mobile phones on arrival in Dumfries. These will be returned to young people during lunch, and then collected in again and returned at the end of the day. If your child needs to keep their phone, please contact the Youth Office directly to discuss their needs.

If your child would like free transport, please indicate. Transport is provided subject to the availability of leaders to supervise the buses. Pick up and drop off times will be confirmed the week prior to the event.
