On Thursday 6th August young people and leaders from the Youth Office will be cycling around Great Cumbrae (Millport). Young people will be cycling one circuit of the island – 10 miles – while Fr Kevin will be cycling six circuits – 60 miles.
They’re cycling to raise funds in support of Galloway’s Seoul – a five day residential taking place in August 2027 following the events of World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea. Over the five days, they’ll hear different inputs from priests and religious, enjoy a fantastic outdoor programme of activities, and have lots of time to spend getting to know each other better. The focus of the whole event is to give young people the opportunity to grow in faith and friendship, with a balanced programme covering all areas.
