Join us as we gather for a weekend retreat to get ready for Advent and Christmas. The retreat begins on Friday at 6.00 pm, and continues until Sunday at 4.00 pm. Over the weekend, we’ll have a range of different activities led by the Youth Office Team and the team at Gowanbank, including: tree climbing, archery tag, nightline, silent disco, escape room, fire pit and much more! And in between all of the activities we’ll have times of talks, prayer, Mass - as well as time to socialise and for the young people to get to know one and other better.

The weekend is open to all young people in P7-S4 and costs £100*. The cost includes:

  • All activities
  • Food and accommodation
  • Shuttle bus service from St Joseph’s Church, Kilmarnock or St Teresa’s, Dumfries (if required).

At time of booking, a non-refundable £60 deposit is required, with the balance due by Sunday 31st October.

*The actual cost per person is £160 however the Diocese are providing a subsidy for the first year to reduce the cost to £100.
